The new route, which will begin on February 14, 2024, expands Porter’s reach in Western Canada and will also provide connections to Eastern Canada and the U.S. The flights will be operated using Porter's Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, a 132-seat all-economy plane with a two-by-two seating configuration, eliminating middle seats. Onboard amenities include complimentary beer and wine, snacks, and WiFi. The fares begin at a roundtrip rate of $459.

The flights from Ottawa to Calgary will depart at 6:20 p.m. and arrive in Calgary at 8:49 p.m. local time. Return flights will leave Calgary at 8:50 a.m. and reach Ottawa by 2:40 p.m. local time.
Onboard amenities include complimentary beer and wine, snacks, and WiFi. The flight also offers extra legroom seats and additional options like pre-mixed cocktails and meals. The fares begin at a roundtrip rate of $459.
